Kerry Kellett on Instagram: "DIY FAUX BEAMS 🤎 Here’s how we made our faux beams in the bedroom… 100 x 25 planed timber cut to room size and screwed into ceiling joists. 150 x 25 planed timber for sides single mitre cut (45deg) on bottom to join with bottom piece. Another 150 x 25 piece for the bottom double mitre (45 deg). Bottom piece should be the width of the ceiling piece plus 2x thickness of the wood. Wood glue and nail to form a U shape hollow beam.
