Ben Shelton's public plea for his sister to get some extra time off from her job at investment bank Morgan Stanley so she could remain at Wimbledon to cheer for him has worked.

Ben Shelton may be the second-ranked American tennis player on the men’s side, but he’s the No. 1 supportive brother. After a quick and efficient third-round victory for Shelton, 22, at Wimbledon on July 5, he took the mic for a post game interview — and to advocate for some extra vacation days for his sister, Emma.

Emma Shelton, the sister of the 22-year-old tennis phenom, has become a breakout star during her brother’s run at Wimbledon — and has gotten plenty of TV time during Shelton’s run at the All England Club. It started when Shelton defeated Hungary’s Marton Fucsovics in straight sets to reach the Round of 16 on Saturday.
