Nvidia has completed back-to-back stock splits twice in the past. It executed stock splits in June 2000, and then in September 2001. And it launched a split in April 2006 and then another in September 2007. So, it's possible to split a stock more than once within a short time span, and Nvidia has shown that it's fine with doing that.

The past two years have been absolutely phenomenal for Nvidia (NASDAQ: NVDA) investors, as shares of the graphics card specialist shot up 736% during this period once it became evident that the company is going to play a central role in the proliferation of artificial intelligence (AI).

Nvidia (NASDAQ: NVDA) reported a stellar performance for the third quarter of fiscal 2025 (ended Oct. 27, 2024), with revenue and earnings soaring year over year by 94% and 109%, respectively. The company reported revenue of $35.

Nvidia is also the best performer on a total-return basis over the last two decades among all stocks on the S&P 1500, according to Bespoke.

Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang will deliver the opening keynote at CES 2025 on January 6, followed by a Q&A event for financial analysts on January 7.
