Ben Shelton is America’s last and best hope for a 2025 Wimbledon title with a huge challenge coming in Wednesday’s quarterfinals against world No. 1 Jannik Sinner.

The 2025 Wimbledon marks Sinner's fourth consecutive year at the tournament. He's currently the No. 1 men's singles player worldwide. He defeated Grigor Dimitrov on Monday, after Dimitrov was injured and retired from the match. Sinner also faced an elbow injury, so Wednesday's match will be the first time he's played since his MRI.

The world's No. 1 experienced discomfort in his elbow after taking an "unfortunate fall" in the fourth round of Wimbledon against Grigor Dimitrov. The match proved to be a battle of attrition as an injury forced Dmitrov to retire mid-match, meaning Sinner would advance despite playing through pain.
