The Indian government has raised concerns over the safety of minority Hindus in Bangladesh following reports of attacks on their homes, businesses, and temples.

Johnnie Moore, former US Commissioner on International Religious Freedom in both Trump and Biden administrations and President Trump’s former Spiritual Advisor, has also said that the Yunus government is failing in curbing the violence against Hindus and other minorities in Bangladesh.

Johnnie Moore criticizes the arrest of Hindu priest Chinmoy Krishna Das in Bangladesh and states that minorities in the country feel under threat. He suggests that Bangladesh seek advice from pluralistic countries like India and the US.
