Some of Mississippi high school football's best players will be competing in the 2024 MHSAA state championships this week. The games begin Thursday at Southern Miss ' M. M. Roberts Stadium with Choctaw County taking on Noxubee County in Class 3A featuring Caleb Cunningham and KaMario Taylor.

State championships games have arrived to put an end to another high school football season in Mississippi. Games are scheduled to be played in Hattiesburg at M.M. Roberts Stadium from Dec. 5-7 between South and North state champions.
