A historic wave of firings across the college football have several intriguing vacancies available. What are the best ones open right now?

Both now have openings, after Florida fired Billy Napier on Oct. 19 and LSU cut loose Brian Kelly last Sunday. But shenanigans in Baton Rouge, led by Gov. Jeff Landry, have lifted Florida ahead of LSU in the pecking order, SEC Network analyst Paul Finebaum said Saturday.

Jordan Rodgers sees a quicker path at Florida to a national championship for a new coach than at LSU, pointing to the current rosters.

Meyer said that Penn State's recruiting territory is not comparable to those of LSU and Florida, primarly based on regional talent. If LSU athletic director Scott Woodward and boosters and even the governor want to take a big swing like they did with Kelly, the first call should be to Kiffin. That, in turn, would drive up his price in a three-team bidding war between UF, Ole Miss and LSU.
