Several Indian passengers travelling from Mumbai to Manchester were left stranded at Kuwait Airport for over 13 hours after their flight made an emergency landing. Some passengers alleged they were not given proper accommodation or food during the wait.

The Indian embassy clarified that Indians do not have visa on arrival facility in Kuwait and that all government offices are closed due to the GCC Summit

According to the Embassy in Kuwait, the flight departed from Kuwait International Airport at 4.30 AM local time. The embassy confirmed the news on X (formerly Twitter).

Several Indian passengers of a Manchester-bound Gulf Air flight were stranded at the Kuwait airport for nearly 20 hours and flown out of the city to their destination on Monday morning.
