The No. 4 South Carolina women went on a 32-0 run in the first half and beat No. 15 Iowa State 76-36 in the Fort Myers Tip-Off.

Iowa State’s Addy Brown, who entered the game averaging 16.2 points per game, was held scoreless, shooting 0-for-7 from the field. Even Cyclones star point guard Emily Ryan struggled, tallying one assist while turning it over five times. Audi Crooks finished with a team-high 13 points on 5-of-11 shooting for the Cyclones.

Joyce Edwards and Sania Feagin led South Carolina with 13 points apiece. Edwards also had a team-high 11 rebounds. The Gamecocks limited Iowa State to 23% shooting (12 of 52) and the defensive pressure led to 19 turnovers.
