Iga Swiatek has won her first Wimbledon championship with a 6-0, 6-0 victory over Amanda Anisimova in the final.

THE ALL ENGLAND CLUB, LONDON — Iga Świątek is into her first Wimbledon final and is not messing around. She dominated Belinda Bencic 6-2, 6-0 Thursday to set up a meeting with Amanda Anisimova of the U.S., with the controlled, clinical aggression on both serve and return that has defined her tennis the past fortnight.

Iga Swiatek doesn't want to rank her Grand Slam glories by which one is her favorite but admits that the Wimbledon and US Open titles "feel better" because they came on surfaces which are way more tricky for her to play on than clay.
