Without Brown or Geriner, Auburn's quarterback room is currently a one-man show. Freshman Walker White is the lone passer on Auburn's roster. The Tigers currently hold a commitment from five-star quarterback Deuce Knight in their 2025 class, but the departures of Brown and Geriner signal that Auburn will be looking for another passer in the portal.

Over two seasons, Brown completed 27-of-43 passes for 403 passing yards, six touchdowns, and three interceptions. The 6-foot-4, 208-pounder signed with Auburn as a three-star prospect in the class of 2023. Update (2 p.m. CT): Hank Brown denied the reports that he entered the transfer portal. He posted his statement on his Instagram.
