The Queens Democratic Party leadership has snubbed one of its own — refusing to endorse Dem city mayoral nominee and borough Assemblyman Zohran Mamdani before Tuesday’s election.

Mamdani, the Democratic nominee and favorite to be elected this week as mayor of New York City, is opposed to Israel’s government and existence as a Jewish state and subscribes to democratic socialist politics that are anathema to the RJC’s values.

Newcomer Zohran Mamdani, age 34, has used social media and big progressive ideas to shoulder past Andrew Cuomo, who's 67 and long a member of Democratic Party royalty.

The group has risen in political clout and has attracted more voters into the fold. But it has also drawn backlash from both major political parties.
