Cameron Norrie played down his on-court confrontation with Nicolas Jarry after the Chilean complained about what he perceived to be poor sportsmanship. The last British singles player still standing at Wimbledon booked his place in the quarter-finals at SW19 after he was given a major scare by Jarry.

Giant qualifier Jarry fired down 46 aces in his 103 winners - and unleashed a verbal volley to the umpire and then Norrie after the match. Norrie responded by not getting his serve broken once during the longest match of his career - and then rising above the provocation from the 6ft 7in South American.
