Ripple and Archax, an FCA-regulated firm, have joined forces to tokenize Abrdn’s $4.8 billion Liquidity Fund on the XRP Ledger.

Ripple will allocate $5 million into tokens on Abrdn’s Lux fund, part of a larger allocation to real-world assets (RWAs) on the XRPL.

Archax has used Ripple’s digital assets custody solutions since 2022. As an increasing number of investors hold their tokenized money market fund units on the XRPL, Ripple Custody is drawing on its long history working with top-tier institutional customers and regulated entities to enable them to tokenize, store, exchange and move value.

Archax has provided access to a money market fund from abrdn, a UK asset manager, in tokenised form on the XRP Ledger (XRPL). The fund represents the first tokenised money market fund to enter the XRPL,

Blockchain payments firm Ripple has announced the launch of the first tokenized money market fund on the XRP Ledger, comprising of asset manager abrdn’s $4.77 billion (3.8 billion British pounds) US dollar Liquidity Fund.

Archax has introduced a tokenized version of a money market fund offered by abrdn on the XRP Ledger (XRPL). The development came through a collaboration with Ripple. In a recent press release, the blockchain technology provider shared that the fund consists of abrdn’s $3.
