Hundreds of passengers were on the two flights when the American Airlines plane clipped the tip of a wing on a Frontier plane.

“While under tow, an American Airlines aircraft struck the wingtip of a Frontier Airlines aircraft that was parked at the gate at Boston Logan International Airport around 12 p.m. local time on Monday, Nov. 25,” the FAA said in a statement.

The FAA is investigating after an American Airlines plane struck the wing of a Frontier Airlines jet at Boston airport, officials said.
