A ground worker removed snow from a plane in South Korea. Passengers heading to Macau faced several hours of delay as extreme weather conditions battered Incheon International Airport in Seoul on 28.

South Korea grappled with heavy snowfall for a second day on Thursday, with dozens of flights cancelled, ferry operations suspended and at least four people reported dead in a bitter winter, though conditions showed signs of easing.

Up to 26 centimetres of snow fell over northern parts of the South Korean capital, as hundreds of flights were cancelled and homes in multiple areas left without power.
