Vancouver Canucks captain Quinn Hughes has been named the NHL's Second Star of the Week. Between November 25 and December 1, Hughes recorded eight assists and nine points over a four-game span. Macklin Celebrini of the San Jose Sharks was named the week's First Star, while Jakob Chychrun of the Washington Capitals took home Third Star honours.

Vancouver Canucks defenceman Quinn Hughes was named second star and Washington Capitals defenceman Jakob Chychrun took the third star. Hughes led all NHL players with nine points (1-8) over four games last week. Chychrun had two game-winning goals and seven points (3-4).

NEW YORK – San Jose Sharks center Macklin Celebrini, who led all rookies in goals (7), points (12), game-winning goals (t-3) and shots on goal (45) across 14 appearances, has been named the NHL’s “Rookie of the Month” for November.
