President Joe Biden on Monday pardoned the turkeys Peach and Blossom for the traditional presidential pardon ahead of Thanksgiving, which marks the start of Biden’s last holiday season at the White House.

Meet Peach and Blossom, two lucky birds expected to get a mealtime reprieve Monday from President Joe Biden during the White House's annual Thanksgiving turkey pardon. The Minnesota-born turkeys weigh 40 and 41 pounds.

The pardoning ceremony took place at the White House, allowing two turkeys from Minnesota, who would normally be a part of Thanksgiving meals, to live on.
