South Korea and the United States reaffirmed their commitment to the “complete denuclearization” of North Korea, vowing to work together to coordinate future policies on the issue, according to Korea’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The United States, Japan and South Korea renewed their "resolute" pledge to seek the "complete denuclearization" of North Korea, according to a joint statement from the three allies released Saturday.

Lee Jae-myung says he would support President Donald Trump’s efforts to restart talks with North Korea — and even consider nominating him for the Nobel Peace Prize.

This comes after the three countries’ top diplomats met on the sidelines of the Munich Security Conference on Saturday (Feb 15).
