The Mahayuti alliance won the assembly elections in Maharashtra. The INDIA bloc won in Jharkhand. Eknath Shinde's faction of the Shiv Sena secured a significant victory over Uddhav Thackeray's faction.

As per the early trends, BJP's Devendra Fadnavis was leading from Nagpur South West, Vijay Vadettiwar is leading from Chandrapur Brahmapuri, and Nana Padole, state president of Congress, is leading from Sakoli.
