A flight crew from Charlotte was onboard a plane that collided with a military Black Hawk helicopter over the Potomac River by Washington, D.C., according to multiple media reports and at least one crew member’s family.. The 34-year-old was one of four Charlotte-based American Eagle flight 5342 crew members who died after the plane from Wichita, Kansas, collided with a military helicopter over Washington, D.C.
