The Canyon Crest Fire, which started on Thanksgiving, is burning near Jurupa Hills in San Bernardino and Riverside counties.

The Canyon Crest Fire, which began Thanksgiving evening to the east of Los Angeles, has now reached 250 acres.

Canyon Crest Fire initially started 8:04 p.m. Nov. 28 in Riverside, San Bernardino County. It has burned 284 acres after being active for 35 hours, an increase of 30 acres since the last update. A fire crew of 74 succeeded in containing 50% of the fire as of Saturday morning. The blaze's cause remains under investigation.
