LENOIR COUNTY, N.C. (WNCN) — An amber alert has been canceled for a missing teenage girl out of Lenoir County on Monday. According to the Lenoir County Sheriff’s Office, the amber alert for Yesenia Lopez was canceled at 3:15 p.m. on Monday. She was last seen on Saturday around 11 p.m. in her home in Seven Springs.

An Amber Alert was canceled Monday afternoon for a teen from Lenoir County. She was previously reported missing from her home in Seven Springs. Deputies initially said she was last seen Saturday and the alert was issued Monday early afternoon.

Lopez is approximately 4-foot-11, weighs around 150 pounds, has brown hair and brown eyes and was last seen wearing a white sweater and black pants. The Lenoir County Sheriff’s Office encourages anyone with any information on her whereabouts to call them at 252-559-6118.

She was found safe soon after the alert went out. Police have yet to reveal details, but said they’d like to thank the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office, the North Carolina Bureau of Investigation and the FBI for their help.
