Lightning recall F Conor Sheary from Syracuse, re-assign G Matt Tomkins
TAMPA BAY –The Tampa Bay Lightning have recalled forward Conor Sheary from the Syracuse Crunch of the American Hockey League and re-assigned goaltender Matt Tomkins to the Crunch, vice president and general manager Julien BriseBois announced today.
Lightning's Matt Tomkins: Returned to AHL
Tomkins was reassigned to AHL Syracuse on Saturday, Gabby Shirley of FanDuel Sports Network Florida & Sun reports. Tomkins was recalled Friday to serve as the backup to Jonas Johansson as Andrei Vasilevskiy was given the night off.
