Amazon will cut about 14,000 corporate jobs as the online retail giant ramps up spending on artificial intelligence while cutting costs elsewhere.

Amazon is gearing up for another major round of job cuts.

“This generation of AI is the most transformative technology we’ve seen since the Internet,” said Beth Galetti, Amazon’s senior vice president of people experience and technology.
