Live celebrated its 50 years of maintaining cultural relevance with a star-studded event dubbed SNL50: The Anniversary Special.

Early show cast members — Robin Duke, Joe Piscopo, Terry Sweeney — were among the evening’s earliest red carpet arrivals. A chorus of “Garrett, Garrett” rang out from the carpet’s fan section as original cast member Garrett Morris made his debut.

"The 40th anniversary [episode] was me walking around stealing things whenever Dana Carvey would put them down," he said on Ego Nwodim's podcast.
