Lamoriello, the Islanders GM, has a big decision to make on pending UFA Brock Nelson before the deadline. Is he tipping his hand?

The Islanders play their final game before the Deadline on Tuesday against the Winnipeg Jets at UBS Arena (7:30 p.m. ET; MSGSN, TSN3), their last chance to convince general manager Lou Lamoriello not to trade pending unrestricted free agents such as forwards Brock Nelson and Kyle Palmieri for potential future pieces.
Kevin Kurz of The Athletic: (mailbag) It does make some sense that the Philadelphia Flyers would be interested in a top-line center like Elias Pettersson but he does come with some big question marks. The NHL trade deadline is March 7 at 3 p.m. ET, and although some names have already been moved, plenty of impact players are still out there.
