The Pittsburgh Penguins players and coaches honored the LA firefighters Monday. The coaches donned the hats on the ice while the players wore the LAFD hats in the locker room Monday after the team’s morning skate.

Sidney Crosby scored at 3:54 of overtime and the Pittsburgh Penguins beat the Utah Hockey Club 3-2. Marcus Pettersson and Erik Karlsson scored in regulation as Pittsburgh snapped a three-game losing streak.

UTAH: #28 IAN COLE - Cole spent parts of four seasons with the Penguins and won two Stanley Cups in 2016 and 2017 alongside current Utah teammate Olli Määttä. The defenseman has 13 points (1G, 12A) and ranks second in the NHL with 135 blocked shots.

The Pittsburgh Penguins are digging themselves into a deeper hole game after game. Even with franchise pieces Sidney Crosby and Evgeni Malkin playing out of their minds, the team can’t find a way out of the league’s basement.

Pittsburgh completed its comeback against Utah HC after Sidney's Crosby goal in overtime gave it a 3-2 win. Goals shots were hard to come by in overtime as both Utah and Pittsburgh only managed one shot each. But it only takes one shot to change an outcome of a game... especially when Sidney Crosby is the one taking it.

Rakell registered an assist and took two shots on goal in Saturday's 4-1 loss to Seattle. Rakell's helper came in the second period on linemate Sidney Crosby's lone goal of the contest for the Penguins.

The Pittsburgh Penguins and perhaps Rickard Rakell got some good news since Sunday. Rakell left the team sometime after the loss on Saturday to the Washington Capitals to return to Pittsburgh and tend to a family matter.

Kevin Hayes, Sidney Crosby, Evgeni Malkin, Cody Glass and Anthony Beauvillier scored for the Penguins. Alex Nedeljkovic, fresh off making history by becoming the first goalie in NHL history to score a goal and record an assist in the same game on Friday in Buffalo, stopped 25 of 26 shots to earn the victory.

The game at Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle begins at 1 p.m. PT. It will be broadcast on KONG. KONG is available for streaming through DirecTV Stream and Fubo, as well as via antenna, cable, and satellite. The game will also be broadcast on the Kraken Hockey Network. Pregame coverage begins at 12:30 p.m.
