House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform Committee Chairman James Comer (R-Ky.) announced Wednesday an investigation has been launched into “widespread fraud in Minnesota’s social programs under Governor Tim Walz’s watch.”
At the start of 2026, Minnesotans will be able to take up to 12 weeks of leave with partial pay either to recover from a serious medical condition or to care for a family member, for a combined maximum of 20 weeks.
