Early Saturday morning, North Richland Hills Police detectives, in partnership with the Fort Worth Police Department, arrested two suspects connected to the deadly shooting. Sunday afternoon, the two departments conducted a traffic stop that led to the arrest of a third suspect.

The victim, Brian Cason Pence, was asleep in his home and had no connection to the three suspects accused of his murder, police said.

Police responded to a North Richland Hills residence, where they found a man who had been shot. He later died at a hospital, police said.

North Richland Hills police say the shooting was an isolated incident and there is no threat to the community.

Brian Pence, 52, was shot and killed while he was sleeping in his North Richland Hills home on Wednesday night. Police say the suspects meant to target another house.
