San Jose Sharks forward Barclay Goodrow was placed on injured reserve with an upper-body injury he suffered against a hit from Ottawa Senators forward Ridly Greig.

Goodrow took three more shifts in the first period before he left the game. The Sharks announced at the start of the second period that Goodrow would not return. This season, Goodrow has two goals and 23 penalty minutes and was averaging 15:17 in ice time in 24 games before Wednesday.
