Prince Harry has claimed that his wife, Meghan Markle, would not have received security protection as a member of the Royal Family without his personal intervention. The Duke of Sussex made this allegation in a lengthy letter published on Sussex.

Prince William is determined to strip the couple of the HRH titles, which stand for His and Her Royal Highness, since Meghan Markle has recently made it clear that she plans to continue using it.

Prince Harry has lost an appeal to reinstate his taxpayer-funded security in the U.K., a judge announced Friday, May 2. The Duke of Sussex has been fighting to regain police protection for himself and his family when they visit Britain—a benefit that a court ruled they were no longer entitled to once the Sussexes stepped down as senior royals in 2020 and moved to California.

The ruling means that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will receive a "bespoke", taxpayer-funded security service while in the U.K.
