Over the weekend, a Florida neighborhood nearly suffered a catastrophe when a small aircraft plummeted from the sky, narrowly missing residential buildings.

The National Transportation Safety Board said the Cessna T337G was on approach to North Perry Airport when it "crashed for unknown reasons" about a mile short of the runway.
