Jabrill Peppers was back to playing football for the Patriots on Sunday, but the hard-hitting safety is no longer a team captain following his October arrest.

Just a day after being removed from the commissioner’s exempt list, Jabrill Peppers took part in practice with the Patriots.

On Oct. 7, Peppers was charged with assault and battery on an intimate partner, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, strangulation and possession of cocaine. He pleaded not guilty at his arraignment in Quincy District Court and was released on $2,500 cash bail.
