Miller began his NHL career when he was selected 15th overall by the Rangers at the 2011 NHL Entry Draft. The 6-foot-1 center registered 72 goals and 172 points in 341 games with New York before being traded to the Tampa Bay Lightning in a five-player deal (that also included two draft picks) in February 2018.
