2024 NFL Playoff picture: This NFC team is the first to be eliminated from postseason
With a loss to the Dallas Cowboys in a Thanksgiving divisional showdown, the New York Giants are officially the first team to be eliminated from the 2024 NFL Playoffs. The Giants now stand last in the NFC East at 2-10 and are on a seven-game losing streak as they head into Week 14.
NFC playoff picture after Week 12
One game remains on the NFL schedule in Week 12 but it is between two AFC teams, meaning the NFL playoff picture in the NFC is clear as we enter Week 13. Only one change in the playoff picture changed, although things tightened in a pair of divisions.

The playoff standings are getting as crazy as a wild turkey prior to Thanksgiving, which is fitting since the league is hitting that point in the calendar. The NFC West is as unpredictable as ever, with the Seattle Seahawks taking over the division lead thanks to their win over the Arizona Cardinals.
Current NFC playoff picture: where do the Seahawks stand?
As with all division winners, should the Seahawks finally claim their first NFC West crown since 2020 they will have an automatic playoff bid. As it stands right now, they would be the No. 3 seed in the NFC and playing host to the visiting Green Bay Packers.
