"CBS Mornings"​ exclusively revealed Keith Urban as headliner of "The Road," a new singing competition series airing on CBS this fall.

The Road, set to premiere in the fall, is aimed at finding “the next big musician” — up-and-coming acts who will open for Urban when he goes on the “High and Alive” world tour this spring, according to a Tuesday news release. Other musicians will perform before Urban takes The Factory stage.

The series, which will premiere this fall, follows emerging musicians as they open for a headlining superstar at venues across the country.
