Roger Golubski, who had been accused of raping and terrorizing Black women, was found dead on his back porch on Monday as his federal trial was set to begin.

Officers with the Edwardsville Police Department found Roger Golubski's body after responding to a 911 call from a neighbor reporting a gunshot.

Former Kansas detective Roger Golubski, accused of decades-long abuse and civil rights violations against Black women, was found dead at his home. His death, ruled a suicide, occurred just before his trial.
