Greg Dulcich’s Broncos tenure has arrived at an unceremonious end. The Broncos waived the third-year tight end Monday. Dulcich, a third-round pick in 2022, had been a healthy scratch since Week 5 after a slow start to the regular season.

Following three seasons with the Broncos, the team officially waived their former 2022 third-round pick on Monday afternoon.

Dulcich was selected in the third round (No. 80 overall) of the 2022 draft and he came to the team with a ton of promise. He was supposed to be the team's down-field threat at the tight end position and had all the physical tools and athletic ability to become just that.

Dulcich's stay with the Broncos was doomed at the start by what became a chronic hamstring injury. He missed the first five games of his rookie 2022 season because of the hamstring issue, then made a spectacular NFL debut in game six when he caught a 39-yard touchdown pass from Russell Wilson in a 19-16 loss at the Los Angeles Chargers.
