Las Vegas Raiders coach Antonio Pierce said Monday that quarterback Gardner Minshew is out for the rest of the season with a broken collarbone.

This season, Winston has thrown for 1,266 yards with seven touchdown passes and four interceptions. He’s also 2-2 as a starter in Cleveland. Winston still has what it takes to play and compete in the NFL. He’d be nothing more than a bridge option that could return a lot of success.

On Monday, Raiders coach Antonio Pierce confirmed reports that quarterback Gardner Minshew broke his collarbone during a sack, and will miss the remainder of the season. Minshew left the game in the fourth quarter after going down awkwardly on his left shoulder.
