A man attacked a golfer on a Florida course, swinging the golfer’s own clubs at him and drowning him in a pond on Monday.

Detectives were investigating what prompted Junior Boucher to kill a golfer at the Sandhill Crane Golf Club on Monday in Palm Beach Gardens.

A man was fatally beaten with his own golf clubs in a seemingly "random" attack at a Florida golf course, authorities said.

Junior Boucher, 36, stands accused of killing Brian Hiltebeitel, 65, who died in the brutal attack at Sandhill Crane Golf Club in Palm Beach County.

A witness said he heard the victim yelling "he's trying to kill me" while running away from Boucher, who was allegedly brandishing a golf club, according to a Palm Beach Gardens Police Department affidavit.
