Owner Jerry Jones wouldn't rule out the possibility of giving coach Mike McCarthy a contract extension, even as the Cowboys struggle through the 2024 season.

Dallas Cowboys head coach Mike McCarthy has been part of a roller coaster season that has featured more downs than ups through 12 weeks. With his team sitting at 4-7 in the final season of his five-year contract, the assumption has been that the team will move on from his services in the offseason.

But team owner Jerry Jones apparently is feeling pretty, pretty good about the Cowboys' road upset victory over the Washington Commanders on Sunday. In fact, Jones did not rule out a potential contract extension for his embattled head coach in his weekly radio appearance on 105.3 The Fan on Tuesday.
