Celtics get first home win of season, defeat Cavaliers by 20 points.
The Boston Celtics picked up their second consecutive win of the season as they defeated the Cleveland Cavaliers by 20 points.
In their 75-point first half, the Celtics answered Cleveland’s massive 3-point barrage with one just as impressive, and when both teams cooled in the second, Boston maintained its edge by crashing for rebounds and bothering the Cavaliers with hustle plays.
Jaylen Brown led the hosts with 30 points, with 18 coming in the second quarter. Josh Minott (11 points, 14 rebounds), Payton Pritchard (10 points, 10 assists) and Neemias Queta (10 points, 13 rebounds) all chipped in with double-doubles in what was Minott’s second career start.
