A man who police say was armed with a knife was fatally shot by an Arlington police officer early Wednesday morning.According to the Arlington Police Department, two officers responded to a report of a disturbance at a hotel in the 900 block of N.

Officers responded about 1 a.m. to a disturbance call at a hotel near 900 N. Collins Street, across the street from AT&T Stadium.

Officers found two men, who police believe did not know each other, fighting inside a motel room. One of them was injured and yelling for help.
