A bus carrying the Indiana University Indianapolis men’s basketball team caught fire on Sunday. Per a post from IU Indy Athletics on X, the men’s basketball team was on its way back from a road game against Northern Kentucky when the fire started.

“On the return drive from today’s game against Northern Kentucky, the bus carrying the IU Indianapolis men’s basketball team experienced a mechanical issue, that caused a fire around Kent, Indiana,” the team’s athletic department tweeted at 6:22 p.m. ET on Sunday night.

Head coach Paul Corsaro and the Jaguars had to evacuate their team bus when it caught fire on the way home from NKU.
