A standoff is underway in Lake Worth after police say a man fired at officers during a traffic stop and police chase and then barricaded himself in a Fort Worth home. At one point, SKY 4 video shows him throwing fireworks at responding officers.

A suspect fired multiple shots at Lake Worth police during a traffic stop, leading to a chase and barricaded himself inside a residence in Fort Worth.

The standoff ended after 9 p.m. Thursday when the man came out of the house, opened fire at officers and was shot, police said.
