CLEVELAND, Ohio — Travis Bazzana and Stuart Fairchild left the Guardians on Thursday to fly to Japan so they could participate in the World Baseball Classic for Australia and Chinese Taipei, respectively.

Online listings for many of this year's World Baseball Classic jerseys say they may not be shipped out until late April, more than a month after the tournament ends.
