A woman who flew as a stowaway on a Delta Air Lines flight from New York to Paris earlier this week remains in France after causing a disturbance on a flight scheduled to take her back to the United States Saturday,

Officials say the woman is a Russian national who did not have a ticket when she boarded the plane at John F. Kennedy International Airport.

The stowaway who boarded a flight in New York and made it all the way to Paris on Tuesday was removed from her return flight to the U.S. after causing a disturbance, a source said Sunday.

The woman was removed from the Delta flight by French law enforcement prior to takeoff Saturday, CBS News learned.
