Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has flown to Florida to have dinner with President-elect Donald Trump at his Mar-a-Lago club after Trump threatened to impose sweeping tariffs on Canadian products.

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said Friday that Donald Trump's threat to impose stiff tariffs on Canadian imports would hurt both economies and later flew to Florida for a meeting with the president-elect.

The unannounced meeting comes days after President-elect pledges to enact crippling tariffs on Canada and Mexico over illegal immigration and drugs.
