Former Indian opening batter Shikhar Dhawan endured a disappointing start in his maiden outing in the Nepal Premier League (NPL). Dhawan was dismissed by Canadian off-spinner Harsh Thaker in the third league-stage match between Janakpur Bolts and Karnali Yaks.

Shikhar Dhawan had a poor outing on the Nepal Premier League debut as he was dismissed for just 14 runs in the first game for Karnali Yaks against Janakpur Bolts.

Shikhar Dhawan is the only Indian name in the inaugural edition of the Nepal Premier League. Dhawan is playing for Karnali Yaks in NPL 2024.

Shikhar Dhawan struggled in his Nepal Premier League debut, scoring only 14 runs for Karnali Yaks in their opening match against Janakpur Bolts.

Shikhar Dhawan will make a comeback to the cricket field during the ongoing Nepal Premier League (NPL). Dhawan will play for the Karnali Yaks in the inaugural edition of the tournament which started on Saturday (November 30).
